A token is what the agent spends, not what you spend time on. Every plan — including the free one — comes with a token balance, and one token is deducted only when the agent actually submits an application on your behalf, whether that happens one at a time in Copilot or in a batch under Autopilot.
Everything upstream of that submit is free on every plan, including the free one: resume tailoring, the AI agent's job search and match scoring, cover letters, and interview prep don't touch your balance. You can read as many matches, tailor as many drafts, and browse the company index as you want — the token only comes off the balance at the moment an application actually goes out.
New accounts start with 3 free tokens, no card required. Once those are used, a paid plan tops the balance back up on a schedule; if you run out mid-search, the agent pauses and shows you the plans below instead of guessing what to do next.
Every plan unlocks the same product — the difference is only how many tokens land in your balance and on what schedule. In Copilot, the agent shows you one match at a time, tailors a resume for it, and waits for a yes. The token is spent only at the moment you approve and it submits — skipping a match costs nothing.
In Autopilot you set a target number of applications and the agent runs without stopping to hit it, spending one token per submission along the way. It still won't apply to a role outside your profile's preferences, so a bigger token balance buys more volume, not a looser filter.
